A new opportunity has arisen for a Private Banker to join the existing team based in Canberra.

As private banker you will sit within the business and private banking unit and is a relationship management business that provides wealth management, financial services and advice to the banks top tier high net worth individual clients.

You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with high net worth individuals. Part of your role will include providing clients with a full range of financial services, products and innovative solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

·         managing the overall client portfolio to optimum profitability

·         promote the sales of approved products and services

·         monitor competitor offerings

·         ensure product range is appropriate for client base

To be successful in this role you will need to:

·         be an accomplished marketer

·         have excellent interpersonal relations

·         possess sound communication skills

·         have prior experience in a relationship manager role

·         possess a good understanding of traditional and Financial Markets investment products

·         have accounting and regulatory knowledge

·         have commercial lending experience

To be successful in this role, you must have prior experience working as a banker and have lending experience.  It will be looked upon favourably if you have a diploma of Financial Planning and a tertiary qualification in a business related discipline.
