Defence Systems Engineer - Communications
Kinetic Defence is the leading supplier of recruitment solutions to the Defence and Aerospace industries. Our client is currently looking for a Systems Engineer who is looking for a challenging position on a major defence project in Canberra.
Our client is a well established European Communications company that develops Communication and Information Systems for safety critical areas across a variety of industries. For this role, the incumbent will be largely focussed on a Defence project.
Upon taking up a Systems Engineering ????? ?????, the successful candidate will undergo two months training in Europe to familiarise him/her with our client's processes and equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop the Statement of Work,
- Performance management and reporting,
- Liaise with the system prime contractor on technical matters.
- Assist in the development of sensor and C4I function tests.
- Participate in Design and Test Working Groups as required.
Applicants MUST be Australian Citizens and able to gain a Department of Defence security clearance.
