Expect A Star Education Services, a provider in the Early Childhood sector are currently seeking casual childcare staff  to work in a number of centred located through Canberra City and surrounding areas. 

 

Our aim is to provide quality staff to develop children's knowledge and understanding in the critical years of early education and care. We are currently seeking candidates who display enthusiasm and team ethic when working with children and families in the community. 

 

Ideally, you will have previous experience working with children aged 0 to 5 years through babysitting, formal centre-based care or community work. You will have a general passion for working with children, be an enthusiastic individual and have a hands on "can-do" approach to work, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will have clear verbal and written communication skills to allow you to interact with a variety of people.   

  

This position will keep you busy with a variety of tasks including: 

  

* Assisting with the implementation of the daily routine
* Setting up and packing away of activities
* Communicating with children, staff and families
* Actively supervising children at all times
