Expect A Star Education Services, a provider in the Early Childhood sector are currently seeking casual childcare staff  to work in a number of centred located through Canberra City and surrounding areas.

 

Ideally, you will have previous experience working with children aged 0 to 5 years through nannying, babysitting, formal centre-based care or community work. You will have a general passion for working with children, be an enthusiastic individual and have a hands on "can-do" approach to work, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will have clear verbal and written communication skills to allow you to interact with a variety of people.  

 

This position will keep you busy with a variety of tasks including:

* Assisting with the implementation of the daily routine
* Setting up and packing away of activities
* Communicating with children, staff and families
* Actively supervising children at all times
