Are you a librarian skilled in cataloguing a range of diverse material including ephemera?
we have a great opportunity for a skilled cataloguer to work in a historical museum cataloguing all things simple and complicated. The project is well established but needs a skilled person to finish it off over the next three months.
The main duties are:
1. Catalogue a wide range of bibliographic material.
2. Create both original and copy-catalogued descriptive cataloguing records on the catalogue system (DB Textworks).
3. Classify by subject general collection items using the Dewey decimal classification and apply Library of Congress Subject Headings.
NB:
You must be familiar with DB Textworks to be successful in this role. You must be an Australian citizen.
