An opportunity is available for an Area Manager for ACT and South Coast region. You will be responsible and accountable for the growth and profitability of your assigned region. You will drive sales, oversee the operations and set strategic direction for the business.
Main responsibilities include:
* Leading the safety effort and driving safety improvements within the plants!
* Improving the profit performance of an already in great shape region
* Leading the sales and marketing team
* Cost control and achieving budgeted and forecast costs
* Managing operations
* Developing new opportunities for ensuring ????? ????? of the business
* Business improvement initiatives
In order to apply for this position you must demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to drive improvement and effect change. You must have strong commercial judgement and advanced communication skills. Above all, you must be an experienced area/sales manager ideally in the concrete industry and have the drive to continue to promote the business.
