The Role
This is a newly created position, reporting to the Asia Pacific General Counsel and working within a team of legal professionals. The key function of the role is to provide operational and commercial legal advice to the Unisys business in Australia across;
- Outsourcing (Information Technology and Business Process)
- Systems Integration
- Consulting
The successful individual will be involved in;
- drafting and negotiating outsourcing and system integration contracts
- reviewing confidentiality, teaming, reseller and distribution agreements
- reviewing tender and bid documents
- providing legal support across a large range of corporate contractual matters including employment
- managing outside counsel

We are seeking a commercial lawyer with PQE circa 5 - 8 years experience. You will have sound drafting and technical skills, proven negotiation ability, strong analytical skills and demonstrated commercial acumen. The ideal individual will have a confident personality, the ability to work autonomously and a strong work ethic.
Your background could include either major law firm experience working with IT outsourcing clients or experience in an IT multinational.
