Senior Testers

 

• Initial 7 month contract
• Central Canberra location
• Very large web application

Our client, a very large federal government department, is seeking a Senior Tester with strong experience testing within a .NET Web environment for an initial 7 month contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop testing plans, test cases and test data;
• Identify data requirements to satisfy test cases and create, manipulate and maintain test data.
• Contribute to the development of all necessary technical documentation.

To be suitable for consideration applicants will require:

Essential

• Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in executing testing strategies for large scale IT projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Extensive experience in developing and executing test plans, cases and data for Web based information systems including Intranet, Internet and Web services applications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft's .NET systems development environment, including experience in writing Microsoft SQL queries for data analysis purposes.

Desirable

• Experience in using testing tools like Quality Centre.
• Experience in testing systems developed and implemented using the Agile⁄scrum methodology in a TFS (Team Foundation Server) environment.
