The Information Management and Technology Services (IMTS) branch of the ACCC is responsible for information and communications technology (ICT) strategy, governance and policy; ICT infrastructure procurement and management; information and records management; legal technology services; business applications development; and ICT user support services.
Salary: $55,328 to $60,072 (plus 15.4% superannuation)
If you are looking for a job that uses your creative talent and helps you to build on your web development experience and skills, then this is the job for you. Your qualifications in computer science or demonstrated experience with any of the following technologies will offer you a distinct advantage: PHP, XML, SQL, HTML, Redhat Linux, Apache, Javascript, XSLT and other web and LAMP related technologies. Experience with the software development lifecycle and processes, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing and configuration management will also be an asset.
In this position you will:
- assist in the administration of the ACCC’s web and applications development environments
- provide technical support in response to issue reports and maintenance requests, and resolve issues and bugs with the database applications and websites
- work in a small team to develop new functionality which ensures websites are increasingly effective tools for communication and productive processes
- work with stakeholders and project managers to design and build applications to specification, on time and on budget.
