Security Tester

 



  • Short-term contract in the Canberra city! 
  • Large, Federal Government Department! 
  • Immediate start! 
This large, Government Department is presently seeking a highly experienced, security-focused Tester for an initial 1 month contract to be key in the re-launch of a government website. 
 
This opportunity best suits you if you have extensive experience and back ground in preparing ????? ?????, plans and conduct system testing for large web sites. You will also have 
experience in analysing and auditing web applications (esp. javascript functionality) to identify and address potential security issues. In addition, your role will also involve: 
  • conduct a code audit to ensure there are no unacceptable security breaches or 
vulnerabilities with the website, playing particular consideration to Government Defence 
Signals Directorate standards 
  • liaise with developers and project managers to ensure issues are satisfactorily 
resolved in accordance with agreed approaches, to prioritise and eliminate or minimise defects before proceeding to production. This includes the appropriate management of deferred defect and issue resolution
