Data Architect
Our large Federal Government client is currently seeking the services of a Data Architect contractor to be based in Canberra.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Work with the Business Architect and Technical Program lead to develop a Data Reference Model in line with the requirements management framework.
- Develop a data quality strategy and implementation plan that covers
- a data quality methodology, documenting a repeatable set of processes for
determining, investigating and resolving data quality issues
- activities required for data quality analysis, data cleansing and data migration of
data in existing state and territory systems into the Common Registry System.
- establishment of on-going process for maintaining quality data in the Common Registry System, and defining data quality audit procedures.
- Maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
Tasks will include;
- Collaborate with the Business Architect and Data Analyst to establish the quality
business rules to be applied in the Common Registry System to ensure data quality issues do not surface in future.
- Work with the Data Analyst to define data requirements to be included in Request For Tender.
- Work closely with state and territory technical staff, applications development teams, and the data owners/subject matter experts.
- Work with vendors/suppliers to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality
standards.
- Provide direction and advice to Business and Technical Architects, Project Managers, and Business Analysts on matter relating to data quality.
- Use data profiling and data quality tools to uncover and determine root causes of dataquality issues.
