We are seeking a talented Infrastructure Architect to join our Canberra team to help service our growing number of Government clients.

The ideal applicant will have many years in a delivery background and come from a client facing or customer focused role, and have an excellent working knowledge/experience of the following:

• Active Directory
• Windows Server
• Microsoft Exchange
• VMWare ESX Server
• Citrix Presentation
• Storage
• Network
• System designs and configurations

The prime responsibilities will be to lead the team in Canberra from a technical perspective. You will know how to deal well with customers and be able to take them on a journey.

It is expected that you will be able to mentor other technical resources and be able to design, review and deliver infrastructure projects as required.
Ideally you will be flexible, prepared to roll up your sleeves and work in a continuously changing environment.

You will be working closely with a technical account team and be part of a national team of architects for peer reviews.

Pre-requisites/Skills

• Ability to effectively manage, people, time and resources.
• Many years of solid experience in the implementation and administration of large infrastructure environments, using Microsoft, Exchange, ESX and storage background (outsourcing background highly desirable)
• Required: Clear and personable communication skills
• Required: Commitment to certification
• Desirable: SAN Technologies such as HP, EMC and IBM
• Desirable: Demonstrable experience of technical documentation
