Multiple (4 vacancies) contract Siebel developer role with federal agency

 

Initial 6 months + further 6 months extension option

Location: Tuggeranong

Closing Date: 12th November 2009

As a Siebel developer,

• you will be working within the area which utilizes web service interfaces to 3rd party software and to Centrelink, with a large number of batch jobs processing millions of transactions per week.
• You will work closely with the development team undertaking technical design and coding activities, with a high percentage of the work requiring ????? ?????.
• You may also be involved in problem investigation and resolution activities.

You will demonstrate the following criteria reflecting on your abilities, qualifications, experience, standard of work performance and personal qualities:

• Significant experience in Siebel applications development (particularly script), with demonstrated ability to provide leadership with regard to technical design to meet business requirements.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment, with the ability to work with limited supervision and achieve results. A high level of organisation and good time management skills, including a demonstrated ability to meet priorities and work to deadlines.
• Well developed analytical, problem solving, and research skills, with the ability to provide timely and accurate advice to management on a range of technology issues.
• Understanding and appreciation of best practise software development processes, procedures and tools, deployment activities including change and release management, and the ability to review and refine processes to achieve continuous improvement.
• Well developed written and oral communication - the ability to communicate complex IT concepts to analysts and business stakeholders, and demonstrated experiencing writing technical documentation.
