ICT Support Technician - Data Migration

Are you a ICT Support Technician - Data Migration with prior experience in the migration of documents from its existing systems TRIM , 80⁄20 and storage locations (i.e; LAN drives, emails(MS Exchange) to the new Document management system.

Our client is seeking a Data Migration - Support Technician for a contract role till the end of June 2010, based in Canberra.

To be considered for this Data migration - ICT Support Technician position, the candidate needs to possess the following skillsets:

1.Knowledge and experience with document management systems, in particular, 80⁄20, SharePoint 2007 and TRIM Context. This includes an understanding of security models and Active Directory functionality.

2.Knowledge and experience of document management principles, guidelines and best practices.

3.Experience with the use of data migration tools and⁄or techniques.

4.Knowledge and experience using Visual Basic 6 (VB6), Visual Basic Scripting (VBS), C# and SQL.

5.Knowledge and experience using MS Office products, in particular, MS Excel.

6.Good organisation and planning skills.

7.Good communication skills.
