My client, a reputable private organisation is seeking a Communications Technician for a permanent role located in Queanbeyan.

The successful Communications Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mobile radio, microwave radio, data, telephony and SCADA systems; including emergency response, project installation and technical support of telecommunications systems. As well as the above the successful Communications Technician will be responsible for:

• Ensure that appropriate preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and condition monitoring ????? ?????;
• Maintain telecommunications systems, networks and infrastructure to specified service levels, and act on asset condition triggers to ensure effective system operation;
• Provide training and assistance to apprentices and trainees.

To be suitably qualified for this Communications Technician role you will have:

• Australian Communications Authority Cabling Licence and all endorsements;
• Demonstrated experience in communication systems installation and maintenance.
