This position is technical in nature and our client is looking for a competent and professional VB.NET senior developer/designer applicants should possess a strong background in software development covering ????? ????? and large/complex systems experience, together with strong analytical and design skills.
The resource will undertake system analysis, design and implementation tasks to transform the VB based existing systems to VB.NET technology.
Duties · Work as a senior software developer to undertake system analysis of the existing Visual Basic (VB) based systems.
· Design and covert the system from VB to VB.NET technology
· Undertake unit and system testing
· Facilitate the user acceptance testing
· Mentoring ????? ????? team member to take over maintenance responsibilities
Skills Requirements1. Essential Technical skills;
- Applications development using VB.NET/C# technology
- Experience in conversion of VB code to VB.NET/C# platform
- Ability to analyse, design and implement software systems.
2. Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills combined with sound judgement.
3. Good oral and written communications skills including ability to liaise with the business clients
4. Ability to work independently as well as leading a technical team
