    ASIO’s Human Resource Management team makes a critical contribution to the overall functioning of ASIO and its people. As a member of our Human Resource Management team you can make an important contribution to ASIO’s people and objectives on a daily basis – it’s hard to imagine what could be more fulfilling than that!
     
    Human Resource Management Officers in ASIO assist in the development and implementation of policies and performance measures, and provide policy advice across a wide range of HR related issues. This varied role requires a HR professional with an existing range of HR skills and/or qualifications. It is an excellent opportunity for you to develop and enhance your capabilities in this unique environment.
     
    As a Human Resource Management Officer you would:
     
    • develop and implement contemporary, leading edge people management policies, systems and tools, and monitor their effectiveness in achieving corporate objectives;
    • provide advice and assistance to staff and managers on a range of human resource related issues, including their responsibilities under specific legislation and public sector reforms (such as workplace diversity and workplace relations); and
    • assist in the development and implementation of corporate human resource strategies which directly impact and guide current and future employment relations frameworks such as ASIO’s workplace agreements.
