Sessional hours to suit you, in your local area
Using a preventative clinical approach you will be providing initial and on-going care plans to residents in facilities located in your local area.
You will currently be a vocationally registered GP, holding or eligible for registration with the ACT Medical Board and hold medical indemnity insurance.
Your commitment to clinical excellence and interest in optimising the quality of life of residents in aged care will be supported by our clients innovative preventive care approach. You will be prepared to work in a team, possess well developed communication skills and be comfortable using clinical software.
DWS Locations are included in this area therefore overseas trained GP's are welcome to apply if eligible. You will have appropriate experience in a similar healthcare system. (UK, Canada, USA, NZ, Western Europe, UAE and Singapore.) To check eligibility refer to mycareer.com.au You must have undertaken your application with the AMC & successfully passed the AMC MCQ part 1 or have received a Certificate of Advanced Standing from the AMC along with having passed IELTS to level 7 in all modules if applicable.
