My client is a leading Defence Industry company.  Based in every state in Australia, they are Australian owned and run and stand up well to the internationals.

The role requires a Business Support or ILS expert for a Cost Modelling project.  This role will see you providing:
a database system for generating cost estimates for multiple option sets of exemplar equipment from OEM & stakeholder data, built upon Defence approved software;
a dynamic system for generating cost estimates that allows the Desk Officer to input updated data to generate new cost estimates for multiple option sets;
a system that can allow input of element costing and will link these elements to the inputted options;
a cost modelling system that allows multiple option set costs to be compared in  summary tabular and/or complex cost template (Microsoft Excel) formats;
a modelling system that allows updated and approved Cost Templates to be uploaded and provides outputs within these uploaded Cost Templates

As well as:
generating cost estimates reports (outputs) based upon current cost templates and in a format that is compatible with current CDG Cost Templates (Microsoft Excel), in soft- and hard-copy form;
be auditable, traceable and consistent with the CDG Cost Template format.

This is a Canberra based 6 month contract.  Closing date is Thursday 22 October.
