Are you an experienced Traffic Engineer? If so your expertise is in demand.
A global consultancy is looking for a Senior Traffic Engineer to join their traffic and transportation department in the heart of Canberra. This is a critical role and the successful applicant will play a pivotal role in delivering ????? ????? along with getting involved in winning new work. You responsibilities will include: -

• Carrying out investigations and preparing ????? ????? to traffic, transport and parking problems
• Conducting and managing traffic impact studies, road safety audits and intersection and road network modelling analysis (using software such as SIDRA)
• Preparing ????? ????? reports (for new traffic generating developments)
• Using traffic modelling software to analyse intersections and network capacity and prepare preliminary layouts
• Supervising design and project manage intersection reconstructions
• Undertaking transport planning and public transport projects

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 10 years experience within Traffic Engineering ????? ????? Management, ideally with some public transport experience.  Experience in traffic modelling and transport planning is essential, as is an established relationship with key RTA personnel.  You will have strong written and spoken communication skills and be able to produce reports of a high quality for your clients. An ability to work as part of a team and to lead more junior members of staff will be crucial.
