This position reports to:
ACT Traffic Group Manager
Primary Position Purpose:
Assist in undertaking traffic and transport modelling and analyses.
Key Responsibilities
o Conduct traffic modelling
o Independently conduct traffic and transport analyses
o Assist in report and proposal preparation
o Assist with project management and administration
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
o Knowledge of traffic modelling software applications, preferably Paramics
o 5+ years relevant industry experience
o Knowledge of strategic modelling software TransCAD, EMME/2, Cube, etc) is preferable but not essential
o Experience in project documentation and report preparation
o Knowledge of relevant traffic engineering ????? ?????
Key Performance Indicators
o Efficiency in conducting assigned tasks
o Ability to work independently
o Willingness to learn
o Ability to communicate with all Company staff
o Ability to communicate with clients
Key Challenges
o Ensure assigned tasks are delivered on schedule
o Develop transport modelling skills further
o Develop skills in project management and client correspondence
o Develop report writing skills
