Due to a number of recent project wins, including the largest subdivisions in Sydney, and a commitment to growth over the next 18 months, a new role has been created for an experienced Civil Design Engineer within this specialist consulting firm.

Working with an experienced team of Engineers, Drafters and Project Managers, your responsibilities will include: -

• Coordination and preparation of designs and documentation for civil engineering/land development projects.
• Developing positive relationships with both internal and external clients.
• Liaising with local councils and other authorities in respect with the preparation of designs and approval process.
• Coordination, development, training and support of more junior staff.
• Identifying non-conformances with the quality system and suggest preventative action and prompt advice to Project Manager.

The successful applicant will be a degree qualified Civil Engineer with a minimum of 10 years experience as a design engineer, with at least 5 years experience in land subdivision and land development projects.  Experience in design and documentation for associated infrastructure is also required and previous experience within a consulting environment will be highly regarded.  Sound experience with 12D, AutoCAD and DRAINS is expected as is a level of initiative commensurate with the seniority of the position.
