In this position you will support the development of strategic policy, working in collaboration with all areas of DEEWR, across Commonwealth and State agencies and with external stakeholders. The policy work will shape government responses to the immediate challenges presented by the global recession, as well as addressing the ongoing imperatives to develop a productive, skilled and fair labour market and an inclusive and equal society. You will be focussing on bringing international and national research, knowledge and expertise to the table in policy development and review processes. To be successful in this role you will need to be a highly motivated leader with a proven record in the development of high level policy advice and strategic direction in an area relevant to the DEEWR portfolio. You will have demonstrated ability to work effectively with government, corporate and non government stakeholders and experts, to examine and formulate policy options and to foster appropriate collaboration in delivering ????? ????? policy reforms.
