Public Affairs Officer Education and Communications APS6 Ongoing $67 203$75 320 Job Ref No. 832The AEC is seeking applications for the role of Public Affairs Officer within the Media and Public Awareness Section. This Section provides a range of media, public relations, advertising and other communication services to the AEC and delivers a comprehensive public information campaign for federal elections. The successful applicant will plan, develop and implement national communication strategies, campaigns, events and other activities aimed at increasing awareness of enrolment and voting rights, responsibilities and procedures, including those targeted to youth, special audiences and other priority groups. A degree in communications, public relations, journalism or marketing from an Australian tertiary institution is preferred.
