This high profile Federal Government Department is seeking experienced Grant Assessors to join their busy project team.
This position initially available on a 3 month contract will be responsible for:
• Assessing grant applications • Developing funding agreements • Liaising with key external clients • Interpreting business and project plans • Conducting research and analysis • Providing administrative support and data entry
To be successful in this position you will have:
• Previous experience with grants and assessment • A Degree in Business, Economics, Commerce, Law or other areas would be considered favourably but is not essential • Exceptional written communication and analytical skills • Excellent oral communication and the ability to liaise with high level internal and external stakeholders • Good attention to detail and accuracy • Strong MS Office , in particular Excel and Word skills • A professional and reliable approach to work • The ability to work in a large team and with minimal supervision
This position has the ability to extend for a further 6 months and will involve long hours and possible overtime.
