Evocative Interiors is searching for a talented Decorator to join our Interiors team servicing Canberra region. We are seeking a motivated and intelligent individual with a love for interior design and a passion for people.

Essential to the role are:              

·          Minimum 5 years experience in custom-made soft furnishings (in particular soft window treatments and upholstered furniture)

·          Proven sales achievement

·          Ability to work both autonomously and within a retail store environment

·          Exceptional communication and professional presentation skills

·          The ability to be able to work with clients from conception through to the completion of a project 

·          An aptitude for building a rapport with people from all walks of life

·          Not afraid of a busy environment, which can, on occasions, get stressful when the pressure is on 

·          Great listening skills and the ability and desire to resolve problems is paramount

·          Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word & Excel

·          The ability to measure soft widow treatments
