Professional Services Review (PSR) is a small Commonwealth agency, with a team of professional, self-motivated and highly valued staff who work in a supportive environment. PSR is the Australian Government agency responsible for investigating and sanctioning health practitioners who may have engaged in inappropriate practice in relation to the Medicare and pharmaceutical benefits programs. PSR staff work closely with Medicare Australia, the Department of Health and Ageing, health care practitioners and their representatives.Your challenges will include making sure that PSRs voice is heard effectively when it needs to be, developing innovative approaches to issues arising without precedents, and working without the safety net of a large agency.
