This is an exciting financial management role in an organisation that supports people with illness, and is responsible for leading the finance team to achieve team and corporate objectives. This will include provision of timely and accurate financial and non-financial information to Board and the management of key specialist personnel.
 
Principal duties will include:
 
·         providing technical accounting advice to the Senior Management Team,
·         production of monthly and annual financial accounts,
·         preparation of tax returns,
·         preparation of annual budgets,
·         reporting on Profit and Loss and Cash Flow;
·         monthly financial forecasting;
 
This role offers fulfilling challenges while maintaining flexibility and a balanced work life. We require a technically strong accountant as a minimum, however the successful applicant will be someone with a good sense of humour who is resilient to pressure and who can manage a day filled with ad hoc tasks.
