Senior Signalling Designer RAIL– CanadaRequirements
- Minimum of 5 years rail signaling experience is essential
- Electrical or Electronic Engineering degree
- Ideal candidates will have a valid IRSE license, although not essential
Responsibilities
- Design and integration of signalling systems for new construction and upgrade lines throughout Western Canada.
- Verification of signalling design work for international projects, some of which are based in London and USA.
- Preparation and check of detailed Signaling Scheme Plans
- Design and checking of Signaling Circuits in accordance with current and client signaling practice
- Conceptual signalling design for new station and line work in New York and London
- Produce and check Signaling Control Tables
- Regular liaison with our clients structural and Geotechnical divisions in bid and tender work
- Preparation and check of processor based interlocking application data reflecting current and client signaling practice
- Acting as an independent checker of signaling circuits plans and application data prepared by others
- Participate and act as Senior Signalling Design Engineer our clients office in Canada. This will involve regular liaison with satellite offices in Europe and the USA
