My client, one of the world’s largest IT distributors, requires an experienced, talented and driven DC Manager for their 26,000 square metre warehouse and distribution facility in Sydney’s South.

Reporting to the National Logistics Director, you will be responsible for managing up to 250 staff through your 3 supervisors.  To be successful in this role you will be a true leader.  You will demonstrate a proven background in managing at least 170 staff and your leadership style will be focused around mentoring, coaching and befriending your staff.  You will be stationed in the heart of the DC floor and will provide an open and welcoming environment for your team.

The ideal candidate for this role will come from an FMCG, industrial or IT background and will have had extensive exposure to a high volume, complex, dynamic and fast moving distribution environment.  They will also demonstrate a sound knowledge of OH&S, strong numeracy, literacy and communication skills and a service focus.

A generous salary package of 140k plus super is on offer for the right candidate.
