Workshop Supervisor – Residential Position – Diesel / Transport
Our Client
IES Resources is a leading provider of transport logistics services to Australia's resources sector, throughout Western Australia and North Queensland.
IES as a group (including the Cootes business) operates a total fleet of approximately 500 trucks and employs approximately 1600 personnel in its global network. IES Resources employs approximately 400 in Australia and operates a fleet of up to 100 roadtrains.
About the role
Working on Day Shift and located and living in the area at Mt Garnet and overseeing a fleet of 14 Heavy Roadtrains, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring ????? ????? Working Environment and compliance with all IESR safety Polices
- All Workshop Records and reporting
- Supervision of all Workshop Staff
- Allocation of all work ensuring ????? ?????
- All Parts and Tyre procurement and management
- Establish daily work rosters and call-out roster
Skills/Attributes required
Fully licensed diesel mechanic / fitter qualifications are essential with a minimum of 10 + years experience post apprenticeship
Supervisory / Management background in an heavy transport / repair environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team
Excellent organisational skills
HR and or MC license would be an advantage but is not essential
Computer literacy – Email, Office etc

Salary
Remuneration is expect to be circa $100k + five weeks annual leave (negotiable for the right candidate)
