Highways Engineer - Cairns - CONTRACT

Due to the increased work load within the department, an opportunity for a Highways Engineer has recently opened within a award winning consultancy based in Cairns.
As part of a specialist environmental and infrastructure consultancy, the successful applicant will have a chance to directly lead and coordinate a specialist team of less then 10 staff.
Whilst liaising with other technical disciplines and attending regular site visits, this role will allow you to take a proactive role in design whilst dealing with aspects of project management.
This is a contract opportunity that will allow for the opportunity of ongoing employment.
The ideal applicant will have a Degree in Civil Engineering ????? ????? at least 8+ years experience in the field.
The rate offered for this position is within the range of $60-75 p/hr, however this can be negotiable to anyone who displays exceptional experience.
