With high profile projects tendered and underway, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in their Cairns office for their building services department. Your scope of accountability extends to all mechanical design aspects of the project. As a critical appointment to this readily expanding firm, you will have a solid background in design, technical bid evaluations, specifically in the design of building services. As the successful candidate, you will have the following experience:
Substantial building mechanical services design experience
Project management exposure
Ability to lead a team
Business development and client liaison skills
Extensive HVAC experience is essential for this role applications from candidates without an extensive HVAC background will not be considered.
Extensive experience with Australian standards and be eligible to work in Australia.
You will have tertiary qualifications in Engineering ????? ????? eligible for entry to the Engineers Australia or equivalent, experience with demonstrated experience in commercial and industrial projects. This is a senior role and would suit candidates with long term career aspirations as opposed to long term contractors.
