Randstad, on behalf of this leading locally based engineering ????? ?????, are currently recruiting for the highly regarded role of SENIOR STRUCTURAL DRAFTER This multi disciplined organisation have a plethora of projects currently being worked on and as such require an experienced drafter to not only join their Townsville team but also take up a pivotal position in the organisation. With experience across a broad range of civil and structural projects this organisation really believes in striking a work, life balance making the organisation relatively flexible compared to many other organisations.

The Position

As a SENIOR STRUCTURAL DRAFTER with this hugely successful consultancy the opportunities available are not to be scoffed at. North Queensland is their main point of operation but employees have been involved in projects all across Australia and internationally as well making this a truly fantastic opportunity.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Being the design drafter on a couple of projects at a time;
Being Project Manager on various projects at a time;
Providing technical assistance to junior staff and formal review of work produced by junior staff;
Regular client contact / liaison;
Supervising construction works;
Preparation and review of multi disciplinary proposals;
Playing a major role in the companys Quality Assurance;
Playing a major role in company management.
