Asset Management Accountant
$66,477 - $77,185 per annum
5 weeks annual leave
19-day month as per agreement
In this position you will effectively lead and manage Council’s asset accounting function and reporting for Council’s assets in accordance with legislation, standards, regulations and guidelines. You will also compile budgets and financial reports for all Business Support Branch activities and assist with the management of Council’s Capital Works program by providing expenditure reports and accounting assistance for the Capital Budget Review process (for assets other than Water and Waste).
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business degree (Majoring ????? ?????); extensive experience in a senior asset accounting role and; well developed relationship building and communication skills, both written and oral.
