World Vision is Australia’s largest overseas aid and humanitarian organisation. As well as providing relief in emergency situations, we work on long-term development projects with local communities to address the causes of poverty and help them become self-sufficient. Our Knowledge & Information Technology team seeks to partner with all areas of the organisation in providing services and solutions that will enable WVA to meet its strategic goals. Currently there is an exciting opportunity for a suitably skilled professional to join the team as a Service Desk Officer.
Working with a dedicated team of professionals, the Service Desk Officer will deliver first level support to World Vision staff. This is a great opportunity to utilise your excellent customer service skills in the following duties:
• Logging all incidents and requests via help desk management system
• Call ????? ????? tracking
• Technical incident and problem resolution
• Phone based, email and face to face technical support and advice
• Maintenance of printers
• Administrative tasks
As the ideal candidate, you will have proven experience in a customer service focused role and be looking to progress your career in an IT environment. Other skills and attributes required include:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Technical knowledge of the Windows environment, general computer operation and networks
• Team orientated
• Ideally be in the process of an IT qualification
• Previous Helpdesk experience held in high regard
