The School of Accounting, Economics and Finance is one of five Schools in the Faculty of Business and Law. The School currently comprises approximately 90 academic staff across the fields of Accounting, Economics and Finance.
The appointee will be actively involved in research, teaching, developing industry partnerships and undertaking a leadership role in professional activities outside the University. The appointee will interact regularly with other senior staff within the University, their peers in other Universities both nationally and internationally, and with community, professional and industry organisations.
Responsibilities
- undertake teaching related duties in compliance with the University's academic policies and procedures
- supervise Honours and HDR students, ensuring successful and timely completions
- make an outstanding contribution to research via high quality scholarly publication in the field of Accounting
- play a leading role in the School's management
- contribute to the management of research, teaching and learning programs within the School, Faculty and University
- develop strong links with the Accounting profession
