Sonographer - Wide Bay

 

A qualified Sonographer is required for a full time position with Southern X-ray in beautiful Hervey / Maryborough QLD.

Hervey Bay’s safe, calm water is perfect for swimming while the white sandy beaches are ideal for all types of family games and activitiesApplicants will be required to provide high quality, accurate diagnostic ultrasound imaging, services to referrers and patients in accordance with professional, ethical and industry quality standards.

Applicants should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and be able to work in a team environment. Attractive remuneration is offered and will be commensurate with experience.

All clinics are fully digital with in a RIS/PACS environment.

Core competencies

• Demonstrated ability to perform medical imaging ultrasound examinations employing correct techniques to the accepted industry standard or above


• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other medical and non-medical, personnel verbally and in writing.


• Good organisational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks


• Strong work ethic and commitment to I-MED culture and values, and the ability to adapt and respond to change.
