Our client, a leading manufacturing facility based in the South West of Western Australia, is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to manage their sites major maintenance functions.
The primary focus of this position is to provide a maintenance planning function to the necessary departments by planning and scheduling all maintenance work in an efficient and cost effective manner.
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in planning function or similar role
- Knowledge of supply functions dealing with supply contracts, stock control, purchasing and warehousing
- Knowledge of maintenance planning principles and procedures and computerized maintenance planning systems
- Trade qualifications in an engineering discipline
- Supervisory qualifications and/or experience
- Formal qualifications in maintenance management, preventative maintenance or planning processes
- Experience in manufacturing and/or a mining environment
- Experience in using computerised maintenance management systems
- Computer literate with knowledge of spreadsheets, database scheduling and word processing applications
The successful applicant will have excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills and be a self starter.
This is initially a three month assignment with the potential for permanent employment.
