Mediator / Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner
Our client is an independent, non-profit organization providing legal advice and assistance to low income and disadvantaged people . They have grown to be a integral part of legal and mediation services and have established strong inter-agency links within the South West community. This position offers the opportunity to mediate family law, neighbourhood Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner , workplace and other disputes. To be considered for the exciting and challenging role the candidate will need the following criteria: - Be currently registered with the Attorney Generals Registration Board as a Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP).
- Have proof of completion of training and experience in areas of family and domestic violence.
- Possess an excellent standard of communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have an ability to work independently with minimal supervision and use initiative and judgment, whilst maintaining professional standards with every client case file.
- Have intermediate computer skills.
- Knowledge and familiarity of Family Law and case assessment.
- Knowledge and familiarity of client intake.
- Knowledge and familiarity of the obligations for FDRP.
