Logistics Analyst - Transport specialist
An excellent opportunity currently exists for a Transport specialist to join the logistics team of our client based in Melbourne's west.
Utilising your Transport knowledge, this integral role will see you responsible for developing innovative and commercially sound supply chain solutions predominantly for Business Development proposals
This is a contract position for a period of 6 months, with the possibility of being extended.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Develop logistics strategy, process flows and technology applications to gain optimal supply chain solutions
- Conduct in-depth process mapping and data analysis
- Run route optimisation models
- Provide subject matter & technical expertise for supply chain proposals
- Review total solution design - emulation & cost modelling etc
Transport experience is essential for this role. In addition, you will have a minimum of 3 years operational experience, be tertiary qualified with a focus on Supply Chain Management, have Advanced skills in Microsoft suite and be proficient in supply chain modelling tools. You will be commercially astute, have strong initiative and be able to work autonomously.
