Personal Assistant to Research Director

  • The Sax Institute’s aim is to improve health, health services and programs by increasing the use of research in policy making. We are an independent not for profit organisation that provides a bridge between researchers, policy makers, health services and funding partners involved in health research. 

     
    Reporting to the Research Director you will be responsible for providing high level secretarial and administrative support to the Director and associated team. In particular you will be involved in:
    ·         Providing diary management assistance
    ·         Assisting with mapping and monitoring ????? ?????
    ·         Assisting in researching and submitting grants and proposals 
    ·         Providing documenting and formatting assistance
    ·         Performing secretarial support at meetings
    ·         Managing purchase orders and invoices
    ·         Organising travel & accommodation
     
    You will have proven experience as a Personal Assistant supporting at the senior level, as well as some project management skills. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be highly regarded. Organisational and prioritising skills, having the ability to work autonomously and being an effective team player are required for success in this role.
     
    The salary package will be negotiated dependent on the skills and experience of the successful applicant. The Sax Institute is a Fringe Benefit Tax Exempt Employer and offers salary packaging.
