Mitchell Community Health Service is a vibrant multi-disciplinary organisation providing extensive health and social support services to communities within the Mitchell and Murrindindi Shires that adjoin northern metropolitan Melbourne.

 Vacancies exist for two speech pathology positions.
 
1)      A Part Time HACC Speech Pathologist, along with the Podiatrist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Dietitian and a Continence Nurse provides HACC services in Mitchell & Murrindindi Shires. The team is funded through the Home and Community Care Program (HACC) and services frail older people, people with disabilities and their carers.  
 
2)      The Part time Paediatric Speech Pathologist provides services to paediatric clients of pre-school age eligible under Community Health and ECIS criteria within the Mitchell Shire. An early intervention service incorporating a family centred approach is also a component of the service.  
 
The successful applicants will have a Bachelor in Applied Science (Speech Therapy), eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, as well as a sensitive approach to working with individuals and a philosophy of empowerment. Excellent organisational and time management skills along with well developed interpersonal and communication skills are also required.
