Having been in business for many years now our client have a high reputation in supplying a quality interstate transport service to a number of businesses based up and down the eastern seaboard of Australia. Employing over 80 staff and with increased business demands a role has recently become available for a fully qualified Diesel Fitter / Mechanic to join the organisation.

The role:

In the role of Diesel Fitter / Mechanic your major duties will include repairs, servicing and maintenance to our client’s range of trucking fleet, consisting mainly of Volvo’s and Kenworth’s. Due to the nature of the business being a 24 hour operation, the role will also involve you to be part of an on call ????? ????? will require you to perform emergency work from time to time where required.

The candidate:

You will need to be a trade qualified Diesel Fitter / Mechanic who has had experience working in a heavy industrial environment working with either trucks, busses or other heavy vehicle fleet. Your experience with working on mainly Volvo or Kenworth trucks would be an advantage although not essential. Due to the on call ????? ????? will need to situated in and around the Laidley area or be prepared to relocate in order to meet the on call ????? ????? the role.
