Thursday - Saturday Only, Long Term Role

Our client is a Queensland based national franchise business with years of experience meeting the needs of Australia's ever-growing replacement battery market. Since their inception they have grown to be the largest and most comprehensive retail battery chain focused on the battery category.

A position is now available within the Cannon Hill branch for permanent part-time assistant to work within the store and for call-outs: Thursday and Friday 10am - 4pm and Saturday 8.30am - 1.30pm.

This position will require you to interface with customers within the store and will also require you to conduct "call-outs" when required. You will be trained in the use of battery testing equipment however some technical knowledge of motor vehicles would be beneficial for troubleshooting. You will be required at times to identify issues that may not relate specifically to a faulty battery but may be due to another cause within the vehicles engine.

This is an ideal position for someone seeking part time work on a long term basis. You will present a mature attitude with a high degree of common sense. The position is due to start at the beginning of December 2009 and pays according to the Motor Services Award.
