In my opinion, the person we're looking for will be one in a million - okay, maybe one in thousand. In any case, we're looking for an extraordinary individual who is smart, business savvy, entrepreneurial and knows marketing fundamentals like the back of their hand.

If you're looking for your first gig as a marketing manager, this probably isn't the role for you. We really need someone that can step in, learn the business and make an immediate contribution.

If you're successful in attaining this role, you'll report directly to me; the CEO. As with any of my team members I will ask several things of you:

1. That you treat your co-workers and business associates with respect
2. That you constantly think outside the square to ensure the best possible outcomes are attained
3. That you always ask the question - if you don't ask, you don't get
4. That you come to me with some solutions not just the problem
5. That you take responsibility for your own actions
6. That you are an active participant in promoting & maintaining our positive culture
7. That wherever possible you try and keep it simple

In terms of specific marketing tasks, I will need you to:

• Review/revise our existing marketing plan and then work with your team to execute it.
  
• Strengthen the Onetest brand nationally so that our brand is on par with the quality of our solutions.
  
• Devise strategies to assist the sales team to achieve their targets by identifying potential customers and market opportunities
  
• Work to develop/refine promotional strategies with the goal of maximising revenue, market share and ROI
  
• Manage Onetest's corporate image and collateral including the website
  
• Organise public speaking engagements, events, sponsorships and conferences
  
• Monitor market trends that indicate the need for new products and services
  
• Provide the Executive team with timely and relevant marketing statistics to demonstrate marketing effectiveness
  
• Seek opportunities to form new partnerships and alliances within the industry.
