Our Southside based food client are a leader in their field when it comes to the importation and supply of their range of gourmet food stocks. For over 50 years now our client have been in business and due to increased business demands an opportunity has become available for an experienced Order Picker to join the organisation on a permanent basis.
The role:
In the role of Order Picker your main duties will consist of:
• Reading from manifests
• Picking of orders from racking
• Palletising of stock
• Electric pallet jack work
• Unloading & loading of trucks
• General cleaning duties
The candidate:
In order to be considered for this role it will be expected that you will have performed a similar role in the past (food industry would be advantageous although not essential). You will be someone that is a confident thinker who can work unsupervised with a high attention to detail.
Conditions:
With a supportive work culture currently in place, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a base salary of approximately $31k per annum plus super. Your hours of work will be 6:00am – 2:00pm Mon-Fri.
