Senior Tax Accountant

Our client is a leader in the commodities sector, with operations on three continents.

Role
Our client seeks a Senior Tax Accountant, within their group tax function in Sydney.

The Senior Tax Accountant shall report to the (Australian) Tax Manager, and provide a range of tax consulting advice to internal stakeholders.

Key elements to the role include but are not limited to:

provision of tax advice to internal stakeholders;

assist the Australian Tax Manager with the management of group tax compliance matters;

cross-border tax planning and structuring;

assist the Australian Tax Manager in advising executive management on the taxation implications of a variety of M&A activity;

advise internally on the tax implications of a variety of inbound and outbound investments.

Appointee
The appointed applicant will be a CA or CPA qualified corporate tax professional with exposure to sophisticated multinational corporations, whether internally or as an external advisor.
