At present, our client, a respected and large national firm is currently in need of a bright Corporate / Banking and Finance Lawyer to join their successful and growing Brisbane CBD practice.
In this role, the successful candidate will be working alongside a highly respected Partner of the firm who looks after the new Federal Government's PPS (Personal Properties Securities) Legislation . As this is a new legislation, our client is interested at looking at candidates who possess a sound background in corporate / banking and finance law, and those who are keen to work in this new area of law. You will never find a dull moment in this role as you will be involved in a great range of complex and challenging matters.
This highly sought after role ideally requires the successful candidate to possess:
- Between 3-4 years PQE in corporate / banking & finances law, ideally gained from a leading mid-tier firm or reputable boutique practice
- A keen interest to develop your legal skills on the Federal Government's new PPS Legislation
- Sound academics
- Strong communication and technical skills
- A proven team and autonomous approach; and
- Solid client building and management skills
