Working as part of a project team, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving technical issues related to Web services, for developing and documenting examples of how to develop interoperable Web Services with commonly used technologies (eg JAX-WS, WCF), for developing a large prototype implementation of a secure messaging solution.


As the successful professional your responsibilities will include:

• Development of client and server side components in Java (and to a lesser extend .NET)
• Collaborating with Business and Technical Analysts to understand business requirements
• Participate in conformance testing of software components to service specifications
• Collaborating with software vendors on "real world" implementations of the solution developed

To be considered as the suitable applicant your skills must include:

• Strong technical skills in software design and development
• Demonstrable in-depth experience in a Java development environment
• Experience with distributed systems and Web technologies, including XML and Web services.
• Ability to write quality code and to document it
• Ability to learn quickly and be proficient in new technologies
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
